Ms Jyotsna Pundir is a Consultant Gynaecologist with a special interest in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Polycystic ovary, Menstrual disorders and Menopause. Ms Jyotsna Pundir is a Consultant Gynaecologist, Subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine, Surgery and Assisted conception at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew’s Hospital London and Honorary Senior Lecturer, at the Queen Mary University London. She has more than 20 years of experience as a gynaecologist. Following initial training in India in obstetrics and gynaecology, she was trained in South–East London deanery rotation including UK’s prestigious units such as the Guys and St’ Thomas’ NHS trust and Benedon hospital. Her training in general gynaecology is further strengthened with the Sub-Specialist training in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, as RCOG accredited Sub-speciality fellow. She manages all aspects of female reproductive endocrinology such as ovulation and menstrual disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome; menopause and premature ovarian insufficiency, contraception; endometriosis and early pregnancy and acute gynaecological emergencies. She performs gynaecological and early pregnancy scans including fertility assessment scans, 3D scans, saline infusion sonography to assess the uterine cavity and hysteron-contrast-sonography (HYCOSY) scan to assess tubal patency. She manages all aspects of subfertility, including the assessment of ovarian reserve. She offers assisted conception cycles of ovulation induction, IUI, IVF, ICSI, and social egg freezing and manages male factor infertility including surgical sperm retrieval at the Centre for reproductive medicine, St Bartholomew’s hospital. Jyotsna is passionate about delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based care to patients. She is very keen to educate, empower and involve women and couples in decision making in every aspect of their care.
