Justine is an anaesthesia specialist at National Women’s Health, Auckland City Hospital. She is interested in Patient Blood Management and is a member of the Auckland City Hospital Transfusion Committee. She has been clinical lead in implementation of cell salvage in obstetrics and in a large local project diagnosing and managing iron deficiency anaemia in pregnancy, including the use of intravenous iron, and has an interest in management of obstetric haemorrhage and fibrinogen levels.
