Dr. Juri Boguniewicz, MD, is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics–Infectious Diseases, Attending Physician, Pediatric Infectious Diseases, and Program Director of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Pediatrics (2016) and Pediatric Infectious Diseases (2019), bringing deep clinical and academic expertise to the diagnosis and management of complex infectious diseases in children.

Dr. Boguniewicz earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine and completed his pediatric residency as well as subspecialty fellowship in pediatric infectious diseases at Texas Children’s Hospital. In his clinical practice, he focuses on pediatric infections, translating the latest evidence into comprehensive care for infants, children, and adolescents.

In addition to patient care, Dr. Boguniewicz plays a key role in pediatric medical education as Fellowship Program Director, mentoring future specialists in infectious diseases. He is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, contributing to scholarly activity and advancing pediatric infectious diseases through research and teaching.
