Jun Ho Jang is a Professor of hematology at the Division of Hematology-Oncology, School of Medicine, at SungKyunKwan University, Seoul. Between 2004 and 2007 he was an assistant professor at the department of Hematology-Oncology, at Ajou University in Suwon, Korea. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship in 2004 at the University of Michigan, USA, and a fellowship in hematology-Oncology in 2002 at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University College of Medicine. In that year, he also obtained his Ph.D. Degree in the MD-PhD program, from the graduate school of Yonsei University in Seoul.
Professor Jang has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals with a focus on hematopoietic stem cell transplant, acute myeloid leukemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria, immune thrombocytopenia, and myelodysplastic syndromes.
He is a president of the aplastic anemia working for a party in Korea, and a member of several societies including; the Korean Society of Hematology, the Korean Society of Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, the American Society of Hematology, the European Hematology Association.
