Julio E. Figueroa MD

Dr. Figueroa completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Iowa Hospitals and stayed another year as chief resident. He joined the infectious diseases faculty at LSU School of Medicine in 1993 and, in 1996, became the educational program director for the section. He currently serves as associate chief of the section as well as medical director of infectious diseases at both Touro Infirmary and Ochsner Medical Center in Kenner, Louisiana.
