Julio Alvarez Pitti MD, PhD

Dr. Julio Alvarez Pitti has a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Navarra and doctor in medicine by the University of Valencia (UV). He is a specialist in Pediatrics and researcher of the CIBEROBN , Institute of Health Carlos III. Currently, MD in the Cardiovascular Risk Unit of the Department of Pediatrics, General Hospital of Valencia and Assistance Professor in the UV.

He has been author and co-author of articles in international and national journals. Reviewer of Anales de Pediatría, official journal of the Spanish Association of Pediatrics. His research has been focused on the pediatric field with an emphasis on childhood obesity, cardiovascular risk factors, physical activity and cardiovascular fitness, sleep apnea syndrome and the application of new technologies in pediatric care.
