Julie Shepherd

Julie Shepherd has been an active member of professional nursing organisations for over thirty years. Her involvement started in her pre-registration student years as National Treasurer of the then Student Nurses Association of the Royal Australian Nursing Federation; an active member of the West Australian Psychiatric Nurses Association

involvement in the formation of the Australian and New Zealand College of Mental Health; and active participation as a member, committee member, chapter chair and board director of the Royal College of Nursing, Australia, including the recent unification with The College of Nursing to form the Australian College of Nursing. Julie was a director on the Transitionary Board Member of ACN until 2013. As the owner-director of an Australian registered company, Julie has a sound understanding of corporate governance and financial management.
