Julie Moldenhauer is an attending physician at the Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Her clinical focus is in prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy. She cares for mothers carrying babies with fetal anomalies that place both mother and baby at high risk. One of Dr. Moldenhauer’s research interests lies in improving the prenatal management of gastroschisis, a defect that causes the fetal intestines to extend into the amniotic fluid through an opening in the abdominal wall.
