Julie K Johnson, MSPH, PhD is a Professor in the Department of Surgery and the Center for Healthcare Studies at Northwestern University. Dr. Johnson’s career interests involve building a series of collaborative relationships to improve the quality and safety of health care through teaching, research, and clinical improvement. Dr. Johnson has a special interest in developing and using serious games as a way to engage learners around important concepts related to understanding and improving the quality and safety of healthcare.
