Julie Bailis, Ph.D., is a Principal Scientist in Oncology Discovery Research at Amgen. Dr. Bailis’ team is responsible for the discovery and development of novel oncology therapeutics, from target identification and validation through support for Phase I clinical studies. Her research over the past six years has centered on bispecific T cell engager antibody constructs for solid tumors. Dr. Bailis was a Damon Runyon postdoctoral fellow at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where her work focused on the DNA damage response and mechanisms of genome instability in cancer. She obtained her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Yale University.
