Dr. Margenthaler’s clinical and research interests are devoted to the care of patients with breast diseases and breast cancer. Specific areas of interest include disparities in cancer outcomes, treatment of high-risk patients, young women with breast cancer, and the design and implementation of optical imaging devices for the early detection of breast cancer.
