Juliann Reiland, MD, FACS is a Board Certified specializing in breast cancer surgery with an emphasis in oncoplastic surgery and IOERT procedures.

Dr. Juliann Reiland is a graduate of the University of South Dakota School of Medicine. Dr. Juliann, a breast care expert and surgeon, is currently the Medical Director of Avera McKennan’s IOERT Breast Program. She has had 23 years of surgical experience, with more than 11 years dedicated exclusively to breast surgery. Dr. Juliann’s passion for Breast-Conserving Surgery is well known. She is a prominent speaker both Nationally and Internationally regarding surgical approaches to breast cancer for the best clinical and cosmetic results. She has incorporated the most advanced approaches for breast cancer treatment, including sentinel node biopsy, accelerated partial breast radiation and oncoplastic surgical techniques.

Dr. Reiland has had a varied medical background that has ultimately brought her to her passion and expertise on diseases of the breast. Her compassionate manner coupled with her drive to push the state-of-the-art techniques, places her in a league of her own. Her continued vision is to bring together the best contemporary breast surgery techniques in an environment that promotes physical and emotional healing.
