Julian Dobranowski MD

Dr. Julian Dobranowski is the Chief of Diagnostic Imaging at Niagara Health. He is passionate about improving patient care and holds the leading position of Provincial Head for the Cancer Imaging Program at Cancer Care Ontario and the position of Provincial Clinical Lead, Access to Care for MRI and CT. In his role at Niagara Health, Dr. Dobranowski manages medical imaging and acts as a leader within the department for various quality care initiatives.

Dr. Dobranowski completed his medical education and training at the Medical Academy in Krakow, Poland, radiology training at McMaster University, and a fellowship in MRI at the University of Western Ontario. He helped establish Hamilton Health Sciences’ Juravinski Research Center and the Center for Integrated and Advanced Medical Imaging for the Mohawk-McMaster Institute of Applied Health Sciences. He currently serves as a professor and Chair of the Department of Medical Imaging at McMaster University.
