Dr. Julia Grummisch completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Regina in September 2021 and she is an applicant for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. She is currently working in supervised practice at both Vancouver Coastal Health and in private practice in Vancouver, BC.

Dr. Julia completed her doctoral residency at Vancouver Coastal Health (Neuropsychology Track) with rotations in the Neurology Department, Epilepsy Program, Older Adult Mental Health Service, and Transitional Pain Clinic at Vancouver General Hospital. She has also completed clinical placements at The Ottawa Hospital, Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre, Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital, Saskatchewan Health Authority, and the University of Regina.

Dr. Julia has extensive clinical experience in neuropsychological assessment with adults and older adults, including those with brain injuries, developmental conditions, mental health problems, and neurodegenerative issues such as dementia. She is also experienced in rehabilitation and evidence-based psychological treatment of mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.

Julia's doctoral research investigated the relationship between reproductive hormones and cognitive abilities in the menopause transition and was funded by a CIHR Doctoral Award (Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship), Canadian Psychological Association, and the Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research. She has been recognized for her research and clinical work through her receipt of several awards, including the C. Jillings Award for Excellence in Clinical Psychology.
