Julia Greenstein PhD

Julia Greenstein, Ph. D. is the JDRF Vice President of Discovery Research, which includes early-stage programs across the JDRF portfolio. Dr. Greenstein has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate biotechnology arena, holding leadership positions that have helped accelerate discoveries to market. Before joining JDRF as a consultant in 2005, Dr. Greenstein was the chief executive officer and president of Immerge BioTherapeutics, a Novartis and BioTransplant joint venture focused on the development of pig xeno transplantation for clinical practice. Prior to this position, she held the roles of chief scientific officer and senior vice president of research at BioTransplant and vice president of discovery research at ImmuLogic Pharmaceutical Corp.
