Jukka Kervinen PhD

Dr. Jukka Kervinen, PhD, is a Global Scientific Expert in Chromatography at Tosoh Bioscience, where he leads scientific strategy and application development for advanced separation and purification technologies. With over eight years at Tosoh, he has played a key role in supporting biopharmaceutical process development through innovative chromatography solutions.

Dr. Kervinen previously served as Scientist and Applications Group Manager, where he led teams focused on developing and optimizing applications for process media. His work has included testing chromatographic methods, improving process efficiency, and providing technical expertise to global customers. Earlier roles as an Applications Scientist and Technical Service Specialist further strengthened his hands-on experience in process optimization and customer support within bioprocessing environments.

He earned his PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Universities of Helsinki and Jyväskylä in Finland. With a strong foundation in molecular science and decades of industry experience, Dr. Kervinen specializes in translating complex separation technologies into practical solutions for biologics manufacturing.
