Judith Stellar has over 30 years of pediatric nursing experience, spanning a variety of settings including primary care, tertiary care, advanced practice, and nursing management. Judi received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Nursing from Boston College, where she also received training as a pediatric nurse practitioner. She received her WOCN certification from LaSalle University.
Judi’s Advanced Practice nursing experience includes Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric GI and Nutrition, and Pediatric Trauma and she has published numerous articles and textbook chapters on these topics. Judi has presented both regionally and nationally on the topics of neonatal and pediatric wound and ostomy care, and has had a long-time interest in skin, wound, and ostomy care in infants and children, and has conducted research in this area. She presently holds the position of Wound, Ostomy, Continence Advanced Practice Nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
