Judi Walker RN

Judi Walker has been working as a Registered Nurse for over forty years, primarily in aged care. She is currently employed part-time at St Catherine’s Aged Care in Wangaratta. Judi trained at Mooroopna Base Hospital back in the "good old days" and remembers those times with much fondness. In 2013, she published her first book of poetry titled: "Nursee Rhymes: Have You Seen My Uterus?" which has recently been reprinted due to popular demand.

Last year Judi stepped into the exciting world of stand-up comedy and her show: "Giddy Up Nursee!!" is currently touring regional Victoria. Judi is happiest with a microphone in her hand and relishes any opportunity to connect with an audience on a less than clinical level. After so many years in nursing, Judi has a lot of stories to tell and her somewhat irreverent sense of humour comes into play as she weaves her verses and her anecdotes together in a hilarious presentation that is sure to "hit the spot"
