Juan Pablo Rodrigo Tapia, a doctor at the Otorhinolaryngology in the Department of the Central University Hospital of Asturias (HUCA). He has won a national award for the research project New non-invasive markers in saliva for the diagnosis and clinical follow-up of patients with head and neck cancer. The award is endowed with 25,000 euros for his research work.
Rodrigo Tapia has been selected as the author of the best work on Clinical Research in Head and Neck Cancer, one of the eight modalities in which Merck Research grants are awarded, which have been awarded in Spain for more than 20 years.
