Juan L. Anton-pacheco

Prof. Juan L. Antón-Pacheco is a senior Consultant pediatric surgeon in the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre of Madrid and Head of the Pediatric Airway Unit. Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery since 2005 (Universidad Complutense de Madrid).

Director, together with Prof. Robert E. Wood, of the “Pediatric Flexible Bronchoscopy Course”, Madrid venue, since 2010. Scientific background includes more than 100 articles published in indexed journals and 17 written book chapters. Research work is focused on new alternatives in the management of airway stenosis; quality of life in patients with obstructive central airway diseases; and the physiological response to airway stenting. Invited Visiting Professor in several hospitals and institutions in Europe and the U.S. Member of several national and international scientific associations : ERS, EACTS, SECP, SENP, Neumomadrid.
