Joyce Neumann Ph.D., APRN, AOCN, BMTCN received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at DePaul University in Chicago, and Ph.D. in Nursing Research from Texas Woman’s University in Houston. Received national certification by the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation of Oncology Nursing Society as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nursing and Blood and Marrow Transplantation Certified Nurse. Major professional experience has been as advanced practice registered nurse and manager of nurse practitioners as Program Director in Stem Cell Transplantation at a major US comprehensive cancer center. Also has had 9 years of experience as a nurse educator in associate degree, baccalaureate degree, and graduate degree nursing programs. Serving as an adjuvant ethicist in the institutional Section of Integrated Ethics for 10 years.
