Joya Chandra PhD

Dr. Joya Chandra, MD is a Professor in the Department of Pediatrics - Research in the Division of Pediatrics at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and her Bachelor of Science at the Louisiana State University. Chandra's lab is directed toward understanding the oxidative environment of cancer cells and then using this knowledge to develop therapeutic strategies that will eliminate cancer cells.
