Joy Varghese graduated from Madurai Medical College and completed Doctorate in medicine in the field of gastroenterology & hepatology from Stanley Medical College, Chennai. After completion of liver transplant fellowship at University Hospital Essen, Germany he joined as assistant professor in Amirta Institute Of Medical Sciences & Research Institute, Kochi. He joined as a consultant hepatologist & liver transplant physician at Global Hospital in 2010 and now is a leading clinician- senior consultant at the hospital.
