Joy Snyder, PharmD, currently serves as the Public Health Pharmacy Fellow at St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy and Wegmans Pharmacy in Rochester, New York. Dr. Snyder graduated from St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy.
Her motivation for this project stems from the high rate of homelessness in Rochester, NY. Homelessness often leads to poor health outcomes. She was recently approached by a group, Project Homeless Connect, to offer influenza vaccines at their annual event and thought this would be a great opportunity for outreach and increased vaccination rates to better protect our community.
