Joy Chang MD, MS

Joy Chang, MD, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She received her undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and her medical degree from the University of Maryland. After completing her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, she came to the University of Michigan and completed her gastroenterology and esophageal fellowship training, during which she also received a Master’s degree in Health and Healthcare Research from the University of Michigan. She specializes in caring for patients with eosinophilic GI diseases and is a member of the Esophageal Diseases Program at the University of Michigan. Her research interests focus on patient and physician preferences and decision-making in EoE care.
