Joshua David Moss MD, FACC, FHRS

Dr. Joshua Moss is a cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disturbances, or arrhythmias. He has expertise in using catheter ablation techniques for ventricular tachycardia and supraventricular arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter. He is also skilled in the surgical implantation of pacemakers, defibrillators and biventricular devices. Moss is involved in multiple clinical studies on existing and evolving techniques for treating arrhythmias and congestive heart failure, including ventricular assist devices. Trained as an engineer before beginning his medical career, Moss takes an active research interest in novel device design for advanced cardiac rhythm management. Moss earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School and completed his internship and residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He is an associate professor of clinical medicine at UCSF.
