Joshua A. Bloomstone MD, MSc, FASA, LSSGB

As Senior Vice President for Clinical Innovation, Joshua Bloomstone provides strategic leadership for clinical and technical innovation within Envision Physician Services. Dr. Bloomstone also handles the organization’s nationwide perioperative approach to the COVID-19 pandemic and its resuming elective care strategy. He serves as Associate Medical Director of the Envision Center for Quality and Patient Safety, an AHRQ Certified Patient Safety Organization. Dr. Bloomstone attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, where he graduated Summa cum Laude in Biochemistry. He earned his medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed his internship at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston followed by his residency in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Massachusetts General Hospital. In March 2017, Dr. Bloomstone completed his MSc in Perioperative Medicine from the University College London.
