Joseph John Gemmete MD

Joseph J Gemmete, M.D., received his undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit Michigan. He thereafter obtained his medical doctor degree and completed his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center and his Diagnostic Neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, a Vascular/Interventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Tennessee, Memphis, and a Neurointerventional Radiology fellowship at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Gemmete has been on staff at the University of Michigan Hospital since 1999, performing both vascular/interventional and neurointerventional radiology procedures. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and has a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Vascular/Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology. He is currently a Professor in the Departments of Radiology and Neurosurgery.
