Joseph Amos MD

Dr. Joseph Amos is board certified in pain medicine as well as physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Medical Specialties. He focuses his practice on interventional pain management as well as comprehensive pain management.

A magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University in biochemistry, Dr. Amos received his medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Baylor College of Medicine/UT Health Alliance for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where he was named chief resident. Following this, he completed his ACGME-accredited fellowship in pain medicine at the University of Washington in Seattle. Prior to joining Mischer Neuroscience Associates, he was in private practice serving the Houston community.
