Joseph A. Adashek MD, FACOG

Joseph Adashek, MD, FACOG, is rated by U.S. News & World Report as being among the top 1% of physicians in the nation practicing in the field of Perinatology. Women in the Henderson and Las Vegas areas of Nevada can take advantage of his services at one of the offices of Desert Perinatal Associates, where he is a co-owner. An award-winning and widely published physician, Dr. Adashek received his undergraduate degree from the University of California Los Angeles and his Doctor of Medicine from Penn State College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Northwestern University in Chicago and was awarded a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the University of California Irvine.

Dr. Adashek has served in many hospital leadership positions and is currently the Director of the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Summerlin Hospital Medical Center and Southern Hills Hospital. He is also an Associate Clinical Professor in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and serves as an instructor at Touro University.

Dr. Adashek has been named as a “Top Doctor” for multiple years in a row by numerous publications including U.S. News & World Report, Desert Companion, and Las Vegas Life. In 2015, the Las Vegas HEALS organization awarded him the Inspired Excellence in Healthcare Award, and in 2016 he and his wife Sharon were honored by Planned Parenthood for outstanding work with women.
