Jose H. Volders PhD

Dr. Jose H. Volders trained at Radboud University Medical Center and Rijnstate Hospital in the Netherlands and obtained her PhD degree in 2018 with her thesis entitled 'Cosmetic outcome and patient satisfaction: ongoing challenges in breast-conserving therapy'. During her surgical traineeship, she co-developed and participated in the Topclass Medical Education from the  Radboudumc Health Academy. From 2020-2021 she obtained a fellowship in Surgical Oncology at Gelre Hospitals.  Currently, She is working as an Oncological surgeon at Deaconess House Utrecht. As a board member of the Dutch Breast Surgery Working group, research, and education are essential areas of interest for her.
