Jose Sergio Franco PhD

Dr. Franco is an Associate Professor and Head of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1976), Master's in Postgraduate Program in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1988), and Ph.D. in Postgraduate Course in Orthopedics and Traumatology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1994). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Faculty of Medicine of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. His clinical interests are Trauma Surgery, Arthroplasty, Hip Surgery, Knee Injuries, Cartilage, Knee Surgery, Osteoporosis, Bone Injury, Sports Injuries.
