Jose Luis Sanchez Chorro

Mr. Chorro is a pharmacoecomonics specialist, and in his quality he has been a member in various institutional sanchez-chorro1panels which focus on drugs and pharmaceutical research issues. Among others, he participated in the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Drug Prices, under the aegis of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, and in the working group for Innovative Medicines, organized by the same ministry.
Furthermore, he is an active member of several professional committees, such as the Regional Committee for Hospital Pharmacy in Extremadura, the Joint Commission of Pharmacy in Extremadura with the Official Colleges of Pharmacy, and the Advisory Commission on Diabetes in the same region. Also, Mr. Chorro acts as a Board Member of the Rare Disease Commission, administered by the Extremadura Health Service.
Mr. Chorro holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Salamanca, and is a graduate of Pharmacoeconomics from the National School of Public Health, in Madrid. In addition, he pursued a Master’s degree in Economic Evaluation of Health Interventions at the University of Castilla la Mancha. Subsequently, Mr. Chorro also obtained a Diploma in Health Institutions Management at the IESE Business School, and a Diploma in Research Methodology, granted by the Medical Association of Spain.
