Jose Arcos MSc, PhD

Jose de Arcos, MSc, Ph.D. is an MR Scientist at the GE Healthcare. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology. His Clinical Interests are Detectors, Scintillation, Experimental Particle Physics, Monte Carlo Simulation, Scintillation Counting, Ionizing Radiation Physics Simulation, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Motion Tracking. His research focused on the field of MRI physics, designing prospective motion correction techniques for MRI-guided intervention procedures, such as cardiac-electrophysiology and high-dose-rate gynecological cancer brachytherapy. He specialized in designing, building, and testing analog circuits and pulse sequences, which form clinically-grade systems, collaborating with academic and industrial partners.
