Jose A. Jeronimo MD

Dr. Jeronimo is a gynecologic oncologist and currently serves as Chief Technical Officer for the Global Coalition against Cervical Cancer (GC3). He is also an advisor for the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), Geneva, in the evaluation, planning, and implementation of cancer control plans in cities with more than one million inhabitants, including Cali (Colombia), Asuncion (Paraguay), Kumasi (Ghana) and Yangon (Myanmar). In the past Dr. Jeronimo was a staff scientist for the Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics at the US National Cancer Institute (NCI/NIH); later he moved to PATH, Seattle, where he led several multi-national projects focused on the development, validation, and implementation of new technologies for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
