Jorn Walter MD, PhD

Prof Jörn Walter holds the Chair of Genetics at the University of Saarland, Germany. He has a long standing interest in epigenomics and coordinates the German Epigenome Programme DEEP. His research focuses on the analysis of the heritability of DNA modifications and their role in the epigenetic (re-)programming of cells during development, differentiation and disease.
