Jorma Into Kalervo Toppari MD, PhD

Dr. Jorma Into Kalervo Toppari, MD, Ph.D. is a Professor of Physiology at the Institute of Biomedicine at the University of Turku. oppari (H-index 68) is an international expert in environmental endocrine disruption, male reproduction, and type 1 diabetes. He is a principal investigator in an NIH-funded cohort study The Environmental Determinants of Diabetes in the Young (TEDDY) and in the Finnish Type 1 Diabetes Prediction and Prevention Study (DIPP). He is leading a joint Finnish-Danish birth cohort study exploring the genetic and environmental aspects of human reproduction.
