Dr Jorge Pardo obtained his medical degree from Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia in 1987. He specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogota, Colombia. He was Director of Rehabilitation Services at the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogota hospital in Bogota, Colombia and is a former Assistant Professor of Electrodiagnostic Medicine at Escuela Colombiana de Medicina in Bogota, Colombia. Dr Pardo completed post-doctoral training at University of Washington, School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington where he was Senior Fellow in Electrodiagnostic Medicine in 1994. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Neurology at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Medical Center in Miami, Florida where he also completed a fellowship in Special Immunology and HIV Medicine.

He is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has published several articles in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation, Electromyography, Nerve Conduction and Evoked Potentials studies. He is a member of the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of Neurology. He is presently Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Neurology at the Herbert-Wertheim College of Medicine at Florida International University in Miami, Florida.
