Jorg Gitzel is a Director in Strategic Business Intelligence at Patheon, one of the leading global custom manufacturers for the pharmaceutical industry. Jorg has extensive international experience with serving the pharmaceutical industry from roles including Strategic Business Intelligence, Business Analysis, Marketing & Sales, Business Development, Process R&D and Project Management.

For the past 5 years, Jorg’s responsibilities include supporting Patheon’s senior management in major strategic projects and providing the marketing & sales organization with competitive intelligence services.

Prior to his current assignment, Jorg worked for more than 15 years in several roles in marketing & sales and business development in Japan, Brazil and the United States.
