Jordi Ferrer is currently the Global Program Head in the Oncology Development Unit at Merck KGaA. Over the last years, he has been part of the DNA Damage Response group, supporting the definition and execution of the clinical development strategy of the different compounds in the Merck portfolio. Before joining Merck he has been leading clinical trials in Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, Schizophrenia, and Fragile X syndrome as well as in other indications such as Psoriasis, Crohn’s Disease, Osteoarthritis, SGA, (Short for Gestational Age) children, and Hepatitis C; and as Global Program Ass. Director of the Malaria program he provided his project management skills to help the team move forward in the development and achieve finally the eradication of malaria.
