Jordan Steiger is a program manager with HRET and currently co-leads the HIIN team’s newest project, which focuses on identifying, documenting and spreading the best practices of high performing, freestanding, inpatient psychiatric and rehabilitation hospitals to improve patient safety and health outcomes in these settings. Jordan has managed state partner operations and clinical topic areas for the HIIN, and previously worked on the States Targeting Reduction in Infections Via Engagement (STRIVE) project at HRET.
Before joining HRET, Jordan worked at the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, Office of Public Health, Bureau of Family Health on maternal and child health-focused quality improvement projects. Jordan holds a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and American Culture from the University of Michigan.
