Dr. Gross is an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Keck School of Medicine of USC, in the Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging, serving Keck University Hospital and Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He is also the Radiology Medical Director at the Engemann Student Health Center at USC.

Originally from the east coast, Dr. Gross completed medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and radiology residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. He moved out to Los Angeles to complete a musculoskeletal imaging fellowship at the University of California-Los Angeles and decided to settle in Los Angeles and join the USC faculty in 2017.

Dr. Gross has been published in multiple journals and serves as an editor for Radiographics. He is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), the Society of Skeletal Radiology (SSR), and the Society of Radiologists in Ultrasound (SRU). He served as Research Committee Chair for the SSR in 2019-2020. He has also presented at multiple conferences and symposia at the local and national levels.

His research interests include many different areas and facets of musculoskeletal imaging; however, he is particularly interested in evaluating musculoskeletal neoplasms and neoplasm-like conditions, musculoskeletal interventions, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
