Jonathon Howard BS, PhD

Jonathon (Joe) Howard a biophysicist who is interested in the morphology and motility of cells. He who uses single-molecule techniques to study the individual and collective behavior of motor proteins and the cytoskeleton. He studied mathematics (B.Sc.) and neurobiology (Ph.D.) at the Australian National University in Canberra.

Since then he has moved around geographically (Bristol, San Francisco, Seattle, Heidelberg, Dresden, New Haven) and scientifically (vision, hearing and hair cells, motor proteins, cytoskeleton, mitosis, cell motility and development).
