Jonathan Samuel Hausmann is an Assistant Professor of Rheumatology at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He specializes in the care of adolescents and young adults with rheumatic diseases and in treating children and adults with autoinflammatory diseases. His research interests include autoinflammatory diseases, health technology, and medical education. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biology from Amherst College and attended medical school at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, graduating as the top student in his class.

After completing residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics (Med-Peds) at Brigham and Women’s and Boston Children’s Hospital, he pursued a combined pediatric and adult rheumatology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. During his training, he also graduated from the Rabkin Fellowship for Medical Education and from the Harvard Medical School Academy Fellowship in Medical Education Research. He helped to create and currently Co-Direct the Autoinflammatory Diseases Centers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and at Boston Children’s Hospital. He also the Director of the Latino Rheumatology Clinic at Beth Israel Deaconess HealthCare in Chelsea.
