Jonathan Misskey MD, MHPE, FRCSC

Dr. Jonathan Misskey is a clinical instructor and vascular and endovascular surgeon at Vancouver General Hospital. Dr. Misskey’s practice includes all areas of vascular care including open and advanced endovascular surgery, with a particular interest in lower extremity limb salvage, diabetic foot, and arteriovenous malformations. Dr. Misskey completed a Clinical Educator Fellowship through the University of British Columbia Center for Health Education and Scholarship and a Masters of Health Professions Education through Maastricht University. He has a strong interest in education at all levels and is the director of undergraduate medical education in vascular surgery and the director of the postgraduate vascular surgery residency program for the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Misskey is from Regina, Saskatchewan, and completed his medical degree from the University of Saskatchewan. He is a member of the first cohort of direct-entry vascular surgery training programs and did his vascular surgery training at the University of British Columbia from 2012 – to 2019.

Dr. Misskey is the research director for the University of British Columbia division of vascular surgery with a strong focus on clinical outcomes and basic science research.
