Jonathan Mcclain MS

Jonathan McClain is currently an Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company with 19 years of pharmaceutical experience. Over the last 11 years in Lilly’s Strategy & Intelligence organizations, Jonathan has supported a wide range of Lilly’s portfolio and strategic initiatives including regulatory intelligence, research, business development, portfolio assessment, and external innovation. As a senior member of the intelligence team, Jonathan strives to utilize analysis of Lilly’s position in the overall competitive environment to drive our external innovation roadmap and help executives make the most informed decisions possible. Jonathan has a Master’s degree in Microbiology and began his career as biochemist in infectious disease discovery research focused on signal transduction pathways and then supported late stage development for several currently marketed products.
