Jonathan M. Pargament, M.D. is an oculofacial plastic surgeon at the Cincinnati Eye Institute. He was born and raised in Toledo, OH and attended the University of Michigan for his undergraduate studies. He received his medical degree and ophthalmology residency training from the University of Cincinnati. He then completed a rigorous three-year fellowship sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the prestigious Center for Facial Appearances in Salt Lake City, Utah where he performed over 2,500 cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face, eyelids, orbit and tear drain system.
Dr. Pargament’s clinical interests are in aesthetic surgery of the face (endoscopic brow lifts, lower lid bags), correction of eyelid malpositions (drooping lids), reconstructive surgery of the eyelids and orbit (Mohs surgery, orbital fractures) and tear drain surgery (watery eye). He is experienced in endoscopic, minimally invasive techniques and believes in using a combination of non-surgical and surgical approaches for facial rejuvenation including neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and fat transfer surgery.
Dr. Pargament is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has professional affiliations with the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Pargament is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinnati and has authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Pargament enjoys spending time with his wife, Laura, and their rescue lab, Jiambu. He loves fly-fishing and enjoys the adventure of international travel. Dr. Pargament sees patients at the West Side, Blue Ash and Northern Kentucky offices as well as at the Face and Eye Aesthetic Center in Blue Ash.
