Jonathan H. ChungMD
Jonathan H. Chung, MD, is an Associate Professor of Radiology at National Jewish Health where he also serves as Director of Radiology Professional Quality Assurance and Director of the Cardiopulmonary Imaging fellowship. He graduated AOA from Washington University School of Medicine and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Washington, Seattle, WA. He completed his cardiopulmonary imaging training at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Chung received the Radiological Society of North America Honored Educator Award in 2013, the American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS) Gold Award for the best educational exhibit at the annual ARRS meeting in 2010, and the Association of University Radiologists Herbert M. Stauffer Award for best education paper published in academic radiology in 2010. He was a finalist for the Siemens Outstanding Academic Research Award at the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in 2008.
Dr. Chung has written over 50 peer-reviewed publications, has presented more than 20 papers and posters at national meetings, and has co-authored five book chapters and three books. He is a co-author of the cardiac section of RADPrimer, an online learning portal for radiology residents. He is a reviewer for more than 10 medical journals and is section editor of Signs in Cardiopulmonary Imaging, part of the online Residents and Fellows Corner in the Journal of Thoracic Imaging.
