Jonathan B. Rubenstein MD

Jonathan B. Rubenstein, M.D., is a the Vice Chairman and Deutsch Family Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, as well as Chairman of the Section of Ophthalmology at the Skokie Hospital of the North Shore University Health System. He is also the Director of Refractive Surgery at Rush.
Dr. Rubenstein received his undergraduate degree in biology with honors from the University of Rochester and his medical degree with honors and was elected AOA at Rush Medical College. He completed an ophthalmology residency at Rush University Medical Center, where he served as chief resident, and completed a fellowship in cornea/external disease/refractive surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where he was awarded the Outstanding Teacher Award.
