Jonas Schreyoegg has held the professorship for Health Care Management at the University of Hamburg since 2010 and is the scientific director of the Hamburg Center for Health Economics (HCHE). He is deputy chairman of the Expert Council on the Assessment of Developments in the Health Care and Nursing Sector and a member of numerous other scientific advisory boards. He is an associate researcher at Stanford University. Before his appointment to the University of Hamburg, Mr. Schreyögg held the professorship for Business Administration, in particular Health Services Management, at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and previously worked as a junior professor at the Technical University of Berlin, where he also completed his habilitation in 2008. From 2006-2007, Mr. Schreyögg was a Harkness Fellow at Stanford University and previously a research assistant at the TU Berlin, where he also completed his doctorate. He received a doctoral scholarship from the German Academic Scholarship Foundation as well as numerous awards and research grants. Mr. Schreyögg spent teaching and research periods in Norway, Singapore, Taiwan, and the USA.
